Venice and Alan's story began in December 2019, when Alan tapped the little heart on Venice's Hinge profile.
Venice's first reply was, admittedly, a little half-hearted, but somehow the conversation just kept flowing. Before long, they had moved off Hinge and were planning their very first date at Palm Beach.
Not long after, the world came to a standstill as COVID-19 arrived. While it wasn't exactly the start either of them had imagined, they navigated lockdowns, uncertainty and everything in between together — growing stronger with every challenge.
Four years later, in 2023, Alan decided it was time. He surprised Venice with a private proposal, got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything. She said yes!
Now, surrounded by the people they love most, they're so excited to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter together.

At the boom gate, turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Complimentary parking is available in the car park on the left. From the car park, walk down the stairs at the end of the parking area and follow the driveway to the entrance of Gunners Barracks.

We kindly invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. We ask that all cameras, phones, and other devices are put away until the ceremony has concluded.
We've chosen to have an unplugged ceremony so that everyone can enjoy the moment without distractions and our photographer can capture these memories without a sea of screens in the background.
After the ceremony, we'd love for you to take as many photos as you like and celebrate with us!
